Another update? Yeah! I said it! A Jealousy Issue is now officially back in action. We would like to welcome the latest poor unfortunate soul to the lineup. He's our brand new drummer Alex "NUMBER 4" Vidal. So far we have had about four practices with him, and things are working out great. We also are planning to head out on the road early next year and do some serious touring to support the new CD. There are no details as of yet, but we'll keep you posted.

Hey everyone! Once again, it's been like 456 years since i have written an update for this site. I apologize for that. I have been going through alot of personal stuff that caused me to take a little personal vacation from concentrating on all things band-related. Let's see..what's new at AJI headquarters:
Well, the biggest news is that next Tuesday [Nov. 25th] If The Flames Don't Kill Us...We Will will be released on Indianola Records. It contains 5 new tracks we recorded just before the summer and our now out-of-print Somebody Shoot Me, I Think I'm In Love EP. It will be distributed exclusivesly by Lumberjack Distribution, and I am told will be in stores such as FYE, Best Buy, Tower Records, etc. So go pick it up. We're very proud of it.
It is not in the CD liner notes, but we would like to dedicate the album to a close personal friend of ours [Tiffany P. Schier] who passed away on November 3rd. She was an amazing person and truly believed in us. We miss you!
Our drummer situation is still up in the air. Once that is resolved, then we intend to start touring as soon as possible to promote the new release.
Oh yeah! I recently did an email interview for EPI MAGAZINE. So, go read it and check out their site. That is about it for now!
Take Care Everyone

I know some of you have been asking yourselves "What the hell has A Jealousy Issue been doing since they last updated their site fourty-six years ago?". Well, today is your luck day! I am here to answer that question, because I know it has been burning holes in your skulls. HERE WE GO! I am proud to announce that we have finally recorded our "La Prima Notte" EP. Once again, we'd like to thank Jeremy Staska (Studio 13) for doing an amazing job. We are extremely proud of the material. It is definitely the best stuff we have written so far, and will be released sometime this summer. As a special treat, we have posted one of the tracks on Mp3.com. Go listen to it here and tell us what you think. If you like it, the words have been added to the lyrics section. So you can study them and sing along. In other news, we will be hitting the east coast this summer for a couple weeks with A Fall Farewell and The Bled. Come see all three bands rock the CK off your pants! We also have quite a few shows coming up. I promise that the shows section will be updated sometime this week with tour and local dates.
Now for the sad portion of the update. Pete "I'm just the drummer Johnny!" Carreno will be playing his last show with A Jealousy Issue on June 10th. All that needs to be said is that we love him and he will always be a part of this band. So that means "We need a drummer!". Does anyone know of any good drummers? Send us an email.
One last thing before I go. We now have an online journal. So if you're extremely bored, you can go check it out.

I know everyone has been dying for a update. So I have gotten off my lazy ass to write one. There is not too much breaking news at AJI Industries. We have been spending most of our time working on much needed new material. Songwriting for us is always a slow process, but that is only because our BITTER ROCK ANTHEMS take time to write. Also, we take alot of breaks for Wendy's. The only other major news I have to report is that our "La Prima Notte" EP will definitely be recorded very soon. Oh wait! One last thing to report. We have quite a large block of shows coming up, so check out the shows section and come rock out! New pictures posted too.

Now that I have recovered from my post-tour coma, I can finally write an update.
So here goes: Tour was amazing. We met so many nice kids and played in a bunch
of places we have never been. Extra special thanks goes out to our new partners
in crime, A Fall Farewell for making the tour possible. They are a great bunch
of guys and a damn good band. I strongly suggest everyone go to www.afallfarewell.com
and pick up a copy of their EP "The Impermanence Of Beauty". You will not regret
it. We would also like to thank everyone that booked the shows, showed up, let
us invade their house. We can't wait to hit the road again this winter. We are
planning on invading the east coast this time. So beware! We are going to be booking
some studio time soon to record our upcoming "La Prima Notte" for Audio Thrift
Shop. It will most likely be released before the year's end. We will be playing
a few shows in September. So go and check our updated shows section for more details
on them. Take Care everyone.

Bad news, apparently Jesus has it out for A Jealousy Issue:
"For those who have and have not heard. While driving home from a show
early Thursday morning, our un-insured, bought no more than a week ago, 92 Ford
Clubwagon van caught fire. After pulling of to the side of the highway, Jasper
aka DirtyWork and I quickly alerted everyone and we all exited the van before
the front half burst into flames. Working at a rapid pace, we managed to save
1 guitar, 1 bass, 1 cabinet and most of the drums before the entire van exploded.
Everything else that was in the van [most of our equipment, all of our merch,
cashbox and various personal items] was reduced to ash. In spite of this tragic
occurance, we will still be going on our upcoming "Fear And Loathing Everywhere
Tour" which kicks off in July. It will take alot more than flames to stop us.
Keep checking back for more tour updates. Thanks to everyone for their support."

News from the front lines:
"In the Fall we're going to release an ep entitled "La Prima Notte" on
Audio Thrift Shop.
It's going to contain 2 new tracks "Scheming Dreaming Juggernaut" and "Midnights
With The Monster Squad". We will be playing the new songs on the upcoming tour.
It will also contain a track from Elegance [my spoken word project with Audio
Thrift Shop artist DirtyWork]. We'll have more info on it soon.
diego moustaches and greasy hair!"
06.10.02
"Please check out the websites of our tour mates A
Fall Farewell and Sora. They will be working just as hard as we will be this summer
to deafen and destroy you."
There's also been a ton of show updates, mostly on the tour. Check that shit
out and if you're in jacksonville check out AJI at the Warped Tour!

The time has come! The end is upon us! The river shall run red with the blood
of the nonbelievers! AJI has planned out their summer tour, like a horde of
angry Vikings deciding which cities they'd like to rape and loot. Burning a
path across the east coast, the west coast, and the midwest. Hide your daughters,
hide you sons! Hell, hide your small animals and kitchen appliances too. The
dates are posted, don't say you haven't been warned. When the apocalypse comes
it shall be called A Jealousy Issue, look for the destruction in your town!

AJI's first show with their new drummer Pete will be this weekend's Gorefest.
Everyone and their grandmother is encouraged to attend. New Drummers + Metal /
Grandmas = Gorefest. Remember that equation and you can't go wrong.

Direct from the email outboxes of your favorite rockers:
... Here is the latest. We have finally scanned all of our traffic violations
for the spring break tour. Believe it or not, there was an additional
ticket that we got while speeding through the mountains of Pennsylvania
that has been forever lost. Among the traffic infringements are two warnings
that were received on the same night in two different states and the receipt
from the Brooklyn Pound, when we had our van towed! Sweet, sweet memories...
In other news, Dave just got his new car stolen, unfortunately
his guitar, his amp, and Franks practice amp where in the trunk. So now
poor Dave has no car, guitar, or guitar amplifier. He did have insurance
for the car, but they probably wont cover the junk in the trunk. To the
people who stole Dave's car we would like to say... "FUCK THEM, FUCK THEM
IN THEIR STUPID ASSES!"

the studio. not just any studio, just any studio would not suit a jealousy issue

studio 13 in deerfield beach, so. flo., manned by jeremy staska. this **** (for
little stevie's sake) is going to be off tha chain yo! count 'em boys and girls,
1-2-3-4-5 bone crunching, jaw dropping songs of pure metal chaos with blood curdling
screams from that one guy from that one band, all wrapped up in a sweet ep package
entitled, "somebody shoot me, i think i'm in love". it should all explode to the
earth, say hmm, mid-october? sound good kiddies? and don't even think about getting
this on bill white's ftp (scarecrow.dynodns.net port 4328 oth/net, just a look
account, but scratch my back, i scratch yours!), a huge nationwide tour is in
the works and you'll end up going and blowing your whole allowance on a jealousy
issue propaganda. trust me, i know what i'm talking about. also, any donations

spaghetti o's! over and out..
